On December 27, we held a special event to demonstrate the strong loyalty of the eFootball Turkiye community to the game and the importance we place on growing this bond together in the long term. At this event, former national football players İlhan Mansız and Tuncay Şanlı joined us. Additionally, content creators Enis Kirazoğlu, Ümit Tüney, Ferit Karakaya and Emrecan Önal, who are closely followed and admired by the community, also joined us and took their places on the team.

CHALLENGE

eFootball needed an event that would bring it closer to the community. The goal was to facilitate interaction between eFootball, the community and the influencers they follow in the real world, and to connect them to eFootball on a more emotional level through this interaction. Rather than just feeling like players, the community wanted to feel like part of a family.

SOLUTION

We have launched a comprehensive event that brings together eFootball players, leading digital content creators, and legendary figures of Turkish football under one roof. We set up the event area with interactive activities such as a photobooth, a wheel of fortune, a Kahoot quiz, 1v1 match areas and Subsoccer, where participants could spend time together. We aimed to create a dynamic atmosphere where everyone remained active throughout the day, blending competition and fun.

We held a special Q&A session with Turkish football legends İlhan Mansız and Tuncay Şanlı. Questions collected on the eFootball page using the #EfsanelereSor hashtag prior to the event were asked live on stage, providing football fans with direct answers to their questions.
Participants were given a special bag at the entrance, which contained task cards with tasks and rewards. Tasks that increased engagement, such as following the eFootball Turkiye account, taking photos with the legends, and participating in activities at the event area, transformed both physical and digital contact into a sustainable experience. This event was not just a one-day gathering; it was positioned as a holistic experience aimed at establishing lasting connections between the community, legends, and digital content creators.

RESULTS

The #EfsanelerGünü project successfully achieved all of its defined KPI targets, exceeding the anticipated number of participants. This event, which brought together participants and legendary figures in the same space, significantly increased the level of interaction and clearly demonstrated the high return on investment of community-based gatherings.

Looking at the overall picture, reaching 5.4 million reach on the X with the #EfsanelerGünü hashtag clearly shows that this experience, which brought legends and players together, strengthened the game’s visibility and the community’s commitment to the game.

To spotlight Burak Yılmaz as the first Turkish Legend added to eFootball, we turned a classic in game moment into a community competition built on real player clips, real voting and a finale that brought the story to life beyond the feed.

To crown the best eFootball players in Türkiye and deliver long-awaited good news to the community, we brought eFootball Türkiye Kupası to life. Featuring Turkish football legends İlhan Mansız and Nihat Kahveci at the grand offline finals in Istanbul, we elevated the competition and community excitement to its absolute peak.
