As Disney+ prepared to enter the Turkish market, reaching the widest possible audience on launch day was critical especially among young, content-hungry viewers. The goal was to create a digital-first launch that made a major splash. However, capturing the attention of Gen Z in one day, across multiple platforms, posed a significant challenge. And this challenge becomes Disney+ Twitch Roadblock campaign.
OUR
SOLUTION
We created Disney+ Twitch Roadblock Campaign and adapted the traditional roadblock ad model for Twitch. On June 17th at 22:00, Turkey’s top five streamers went live simultaneously for an exclusive Disney+ Twitch Roadblock. For one hour, we dominated the gaming ecosystem, reaching nearly everyone on Twitch Turkey and turning the platform into a full-scale Disney+ digital launch stage.
RESULTS
Disney+ Twitch Roadblock Campaign achieved impressive results with 2M impressions on Instagram and a total of 1M live views. It also sparked organic conversation on Twitter and earned Silver MIXX and Silver MMA awards.
